Acadia Connect
Acadia Connect is a patient support system that the team and I at Pivot Design had the opportunity to rebrand and build from the ground up. The client, Acadia Pharmaceuticals, was looking to expand their product portfolio and help bring treatment to more patients suffering from central nervous system disorders.
Currently, the program supports patients prescribed Nuplazid, the only FDA-approved therapy proven to reduce the frequency and/or severity of hallucinations and delusions associated with Parkinson’s Disease psychosis. Acadia Connect supports patients and caregivers as they settle in with their new treatment but also help healthcare providers navigate the process as well.
We worked with the internal marketing team at Acadia to develop an approachable brand that’s big on heart. Soft colors and conversational messaging allow for maximum patient adherence and, ultimately, the best overall experience for the patient.
From web design to custom packaging—our team designed and developed the entire system. The site was designed in Sketch, using InVision as an invaluable tool to present and track client revisions. It's built on a bootstrap grid and has been optimized to meet current web accessibility standards, based on our client's requirements.
We worked to develop a better patient experience—which means completely custom packaging. Shown above is the free 14-day supply kit, which is crucial to getting patients started on the medication while their insurance is coordinated with the support program and doctor. These are distributed either direct-to-consumer or through a specialty pharmacy. Custom enrollment pocket folder with accompanying letter shown below.
